About us
The Women's Institute (WI) was formed in 1915 to revitalise rural communities and encourage women to become more involved in producing food during the First World War.
My WI is a members-only portal on the NFWI website. It provides a wide range of guidance on how to get the best out of your WI, help with running your WI, explaining policies, providing reports and accounts; keeping you up-to-date on the latest campaigns and resolutions.
Like-minded people from all over the globe can take part in Denman at Home online courses, learning new skills, brushing up on their history or taking their hobby to the next level. It’s all there for every ability and every interest. Since the launch of Denman at Home in May 2020, over 90,000 different people joined their online courses and events... will you be next to discover that hidden talent you never knew you had?
Shropshire Federation supports ACWW - the Associated Country Women of the World.
The ACWW was founded in 1929 to bring together rural women and their organisations all over the world.
